Welcome to the North Willamette Valley region of Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory, where our abundant countryside offers a feast for the senses. One of three Activity Guides, this guide will help you experience Our Country Pleasures through expansive farmlands, festivals celebrating colorful flowers, and farmers’ markets where you will find locally grown items for sample and sale.

In addition to these routes we have included a sample of some DAY TRIP highlights from our other two Activity Guides – Portland Metro Heritage & Culture and Mt. Hood Recreation.

Also, for the long distance traveler, the BEYOND THE TERRITORY section will give you ideas for extending your stay and exploring attractions in the nearby areas of Northwest Oregon.

The suggested highlights along the routes are color coded by type of activity in sequential order. Refer to the legend located on the map.

Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory is home to landscape nurseries, luscious berry farms, seasonal produce stands and farmers’ markets, and green fields broken up only by the occasional road or the colorful bounty of one of many flower farms. At each turn, your taste buds will be tempted, sweet scents will seduce you, awe-inspiring views will delight the eye and activities will invite discovery by the whole family.
